    Jean Brownhill Lauer was inspired to found The Sweeten after renovating her own Brooklyn home. She leads the business management and operations for The Sweeten. She has 10 years of experience in residential and commercial architecture planning, design, project management and systems. Jean holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The Cooper Union School of Architecture and she is a Loeb Fellow at Harvard University.   • Peter Kamali
    Peter Kamali and his team at Launch Lab lead the software design and development at The Sweeten. Peter has built internet software for 15 years, at large corporations and small startups including companies he co-founded like Wee Web and Meetup. Peter holds a BA in Mathematics and an MS in Computer Science, both from Columbia.
  • Andrew Pollock
    Andrew Pollock leads the development of standardized residential building processes to support homeowner and contractor requirements for The Sweeten. He is the principal of the architecture firm Andrew Pollock Architect, PC. Andrew brings his client and architectural management expertise with 20+ years in the residential NYC market. He holds a BFA in Arts and Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design.

    Steve Schweiger Founder of Shurbuilt Construction
    Specializing in renovation and remodeling of residential and commercial spaces in the New York area. Shurbuilt Construction prides themselves on their ability to realize the goals of the client and bring that vision to life using low-impact solutions. In his past career Steve was an early pioneer in the west coast tech community.
