Frequently Asked Questions

Who will I be working with at theSweeten.com?

Once you post your project to theSweeten, you’ll get direct access to the full theSweeten team who will help you along the way!

Your first contact will be your Project Guide, who will review your project. Your Project Guide will introduce you to up to three members from theSweeten’s network of professional Architects, Contractors and Interior Designers, and help you manage expectations and align scope and budget.

Once you hire a network member and start your project, theSweeten’s involvement continues.

Your second point of contact at theSweeten will be your Project Tracker. They will gather feedback, testimonials and possibly document your project by taking "before, during & after" photos, to help other clients learn about the process and make the most of renovation projects. For tips and project ideas, check out these great stories from theSweeten clients on our blog!

How long will it take after I post my project for me to receive introductions to members of theSweeten network?

If you create a detailed project listing, you will receive your first introduction email within 48 hours of posting your project.

You’ll be invited to check out the profile pages of each professional that has been selected for you, review their work history and read real client feedback.

What can I expect after being introduced to a member of theSweeten network?

Most projects require a site visit in order to determine the final project cost. theSweeten network members will work with you directly to schedule a meeting and review your project requirements in detail.

How do I select the right member for my project?

It’s all about the right fit. Be committed to finding the professional that will achieve your vision. Interview each professional you’ve been matched with and pay close attention to the communication style of each.

We check references, but you should too! Being closely involved in your project from the start is important. Be sure to always ask for client feedback, and review licenses, insurance paperwork, and any other required documents needed for your project.

Don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions! If you feel in sync with the firm or person you’ve been matched with and all the other details look good, hire them and get started on your renovation!

I've hired a member of theSweeten network. How do submit feedback?
