What information should I upload about my project?

Write a clear and detailed description of the conditions you have and the outcome you want. You should upload photos and floor plans of your current space. Also, if you have them, upload example photos of other projects or details you like and want your space to resemble.

Quick Tip: Be careful on photos of the exterior of your house. Make sure that the number and/or street name are not visible in the photos.

How long will it take after I post my project for me to receive introductions to members of The Sweeten network?

If we have enough information you will receive your first introduction email within 48 hours of posting your project. If we need more details we'll email you with questions.

How do I select the right member for my project?

You will receive between 3-5 introductions to members of The Sweeten network. To identify the right member for you, look for portfolio and work history that is a good match for the work to be done. Also, consider the communication style and overall responsiveness of the member. Great communication leads to great results.

What can I expect after being introduced to a member of The Sweeten network?

Most projects require a site visit in order to determine the final project cost. Our members will work with you directly to schedule a meeting and review in more detail your project requirements.

How do I hire a member of The Sweeten network?

Under the ‘estimate’ tab on your project, you will see an ‘Award this Project’ button. Select the member you wish to hire and click the award button. It is important to award your project through The Sweeten website. This is the only way that your project will be posted to the members’ profile page allowing you to give feedback and evaluate the results of your project to The Sweeten community.

I've hired a member of The Sweeten network, how do I evaluate them?

Be as honest and forthright as possible when giving us feedback. These evaluations cannot be deleted, so represent your project outcome honestly. We want to maintain a quality network and your feedback is very important to us.
